Elchin Guliyev visits state border with Armenia

Head of the State Border Service, Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev, visited the military unit and subdivisions of the Gazakh border guard division to check the combat activity.

The SBS Chief inspected the implementation of the instructions of the Azerbaijani President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, met with the officers serving at the border checkpoints on the line of contact, reviewed the service and living conditions of border guards and, newly created combat positions and protective barriers.

Guliyev gave relevant instructions to increase the combat readiness of the military unit and subdivisions, to ensure the inviolability of the state border and the safety of personnel and to strengthen military discipline among service members.
