Azerbaijani Army positions subjected to fire in Kalbajar, Lachin, Tovuz districts

Positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the Kalbajar, Lachin and Tovuz districts came under fire, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

“On October 15 from 15:20 to 18:00 (GMT +4), and during the night of October 16, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions in the directions of the Yenikend and Yukhari Shorzha settlements of the Basarkechar region, Garashen settlement of the Gorus region, and Chinarli settlement of the Tovuzgala region using various caliber weapons periodically subjected to fire the Azerbaijani Army positions, stationed in the directions of the Jamilli and Mollabayramli settlements of the Kalbajar region, Husulu settlement of the Lachin region, as well as Kokhanabi settlement of the Tovuz region,” the ministry said.

“The Azerbaijani Army Units stationed in these directions took adequate retaliatory measures.”
