Armenians fire on Azerbaijani positions 

At 9:10 on June 1, the Armenian armed forces fired on the positions of the Azerbaijani Army located in the direction of the Esrik Jirdakhan settlement of the Tovuz district from the positions located in the direction of the Chinarli settlement of the Tovuzgala district, Report informs, citing the Defense Ministry.

Around 10:00 a.m., the positions of the Azerbaijani Army located in the direction of Shusha district were fired upon by the members of the illegal Armenian armed groups in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed.

The Azerbaijani Army Units stationed in these directions took adequate retaliatory measures.

Moreover, the members of illegal Armenian armed formations, under the pretext of carrying out agricultural work with the involvement of engineering equipment, have attempted to restore and expand the dirt road in order to use it as a supply route for their combat positions in the Shusha and Khojavend districts.

As a result of urgent measures taken by units of the Azerbaijani Army, the work was immediately stopped.
