Which Azerbaijani cars won't not be admitted to international transportation?

Carriers who do not have a permit for international road transport will not be admitted to international transport from April 8, said Anar Rzayev, the Head of the State Land Transport Service Under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Report informs.

According to him, last year, “Rules for admission to international passenger and freight transport by road” were approved by Decree No. 149 of the President of Azerbaijan dated April 8, 2022: "During the past period, 84 companies applied, and their documents are already being reviewed. Their documents comply with the requirements of the regulations. We hold a meeting on speeding up the applications of other companies."

Rzayev stressed that there has been a significant change in international transportation in the country in the recent period: "The number of companies increased from 70 to 216. The number of vehicles has increased from 3,000 to 8,000. The market share of national carriers in all directions has increased significantly.”
