Vugar Suleymanov: Civilian danger persists in Azerbaijan's Karabakh

Since the end of the Karabakh conflict, 425 people have fallen victim to landmines and explosive incidents, Vugar Suleymanov, chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), said during a session held within the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Report informs.
The chairman stressed that even though active military operations have ceased, the threat to civilians continues: "Without mine clearance, it is impossible to begin the process of reconstruction and recovery."
