President: Almost all transport, communication projects completed in Azerbaijan

"Almost all transport and communication projects in Azerbaijan have been completed. Today we are working with our partners and neighbors to increase transportation and increase the transit capacity of Azerbaijan," Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in the "Formula of Power" program of Russia 24 TV, Report informs.

In a conversation with the program host, First Deputy General Director of the TASS news agency Mikhail Gusman, the head of state spoke about the information and communication technologies field. It was noted that Azerbaijan, which already has three satellites, is a member of the international space club. The ICT sector is developing very actively and there is significant growth in this area.

The president also noted that huge investments are made in Azerbaijan's agriculture and significant growth has been achieved in this area; a modern tourism infrastructure has been created. He spoke about the effective fight against the coronavirus pandemic and Azerbaijan's global initiatives in this direction, the country's successful chairmanship in the Non-Aligned Movement, and touched upon a number of other topical issues.
