The Baku Transport Agency (BTA) has commented on the possibility of increasing bus fares after the increase in fuel prices in Azerbaijan by the Tariff (Price) Council's decision.
Report informs, agency spokesman Mais Agayev has said.
"As a legal entity that regulates and oversees passenger transportation in the capital, BTA has not appealed to the Tariff Council to increase fares, and this issue is not on the agenda at the moment. At present, the main attention is paid to improving the quality of public transport services," M. Agayev noted.
