Azerbaijani female rower wins silver at World Championships

Azerbaijani rower Diana Dymchenko grabbed silver at the World Coastal Rowing Championships, which took place in the Italian city of Barletta.

According to Report, Dymchenko lost gold to Ireland's Monika Dukarska.

The Azerbaijani representative finished first in the qualifying round. The athlete covered the 4000-meter distance in 20:11.72 minutes.

In the final stage, the athletes competed at a distance of 6000 meters. Diana covered this distance in 32:20.94 minutes.

She finished the World Championships ahead of the French athlete Jessica Berrani (32:33.92) by 13 seconds. Champion Dukarska finished in 32:09.17.
