Iran thanks countries that supported search for President's helicopter

Iran expresses its gratitude to a number of countries for their solidarity with the people and government of the Islamic Republic, as well as for their help in the search operation of President Ibrahim Raisi's helicopter that crashed hard, Report informs via the Iranian MFA’s telegram channel.

"The Islamic Republic thanks many governments, countries and international organizations for expressing their solidarity with the government and people of Iran and offering help and assistance in the search and rescue operation," the post said.

Earlier, the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic of Azerbaijan stated that it is ready to provide immediate support to the search and rescue operation due to the crash landing of the helicopter carrying the delegation led by the President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi.

Thus, according to the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the readiness of the search and rescue team of 40 professional rescuers equipped with the necessary technical means to join the search and rescue operation with 2 helicopters was brought to the attention of the relevant government agency of the friendly country.
