SBS takes over combat posts in Gazakh and Agstafa sections of state border with Armenia

Baku. 14 December. REPORT.AZ/ "Taking into account the military potential of the State Border Service, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev instructed the State Boder Service to take over the combat posts passing via the state border with Armenia through Gazakh and Agstafa regions and due military facilities," Chief of the State Border Service, Colonel General Elchin Guliyev said.

Report informs that he spoke at the reporting meeting on the results of military and combat activity in 2018.

Guliyev said that this is an expression of serious confidence in the Azerbaijani frontier: “The consistent and dynamic  works carried out in this field should be especially marked with a great dignity for the purpose of the execution of the task, which forms the basis for the complete protection of the state border of Azerbaijan, by the military servants of the State Border Service, these areas being both the border and an entrechment, organization of the military and combat activity in these areas by the Border troops of the State Borde Service, and creation of the system of protection of state borders in this direction."
