Fire near Jeyranbatan reservoir extinguished - UPDATED

The fire near the Jeyranbatan reservoir in the Absheron region was put out by the Ministry of Emergencies at 16:49. Report says, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The firefighting operation involved workforce and 17 units of equipment of the State Fire Service, three helicopters of an aviation detachment, personnel of the Civil Defense Forces, and Rescue Service with Special Risk.

112 hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) has received information about the fire that burning dry grass and bushes near the Jeyranbatan reservoir in Absheron region, Report says, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Forces and equipment of the State Fire Protection Service and Special Risk Rescue Service were dispatched to the scene.

At present, fire extinguishing works are underway near the Jeyranbatan reservoir in the Jeyranbatan settlement.

Two helicopters of the Ministry's Aviation Detachment were involved in the firefighting operation.
