Turkish ambassador: "Azerbaijan has become a stronger country in the region"

"Armenians relied on air defense systems and the lines of defense, but they could not imagine the love of the Azerbaijani Army for the homeland and the flag," Turkey's new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Cahit Bağçı said in an exclusive interview with Report.

"Undoubtedly, Mr. Ilham Aliyev's resolute, determined speeches gave courage and great moral motivation to the Azerbaijani Army. On the other hand, the strong political support of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the Patriotic War was vital. Moreover, the diplomatic support and solidarity of our Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in that critical period played a significant role in the political victory of Azerbaijan in its just struggle. Turkey has always supported and stood by Azerbaijan on every platform. It is a requirement of our brotherhood. From this standpoint, nothing will be the same as before. Azerbaijan has become a stronger country in the region," the diplomat said.
