​Baku celebrates the Independence Day of Indonesia

Baku. 18 August. REPORT.AZ/ The 70th anniversary of the independence of Indonesia was marked at the residence of the Ambassador of Indonesia in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Report informs, at the event the ambassador of Indonesia to Azerbaijan Mr. Raden Prayono Atiyanto spoke about the history of independence.

Then the guests were presented samples of Indonesian cuisine and folk art.

At the end the Ambassador and the Embassy staff performed Azerbaijan folk songs on national Indonesian musical instruments.

The event was attended by representatives of the Indonesian Diaspora, as well as heads of a number of diplomatic missions accredited in Azerbaijan.
