“Sumgayit” manager and “Zira” player punished

Baku. 21 February. REPORT.AZ/ AFFA Disciplinary Committee punished the head coach of “Sumgayit” football club Samir Abbasov.
Report informs, decision was made in the committee's meeting.
Young specialist will watch the “Zira” match from tribune as he breached technical zone rules during 19th round match of Azerbaijan Premier League. As it was second such case, Abbasov’s club was fined 1600 AZN. If similar case is repeated, “Sumgayit” may face heavier sanction.
“Zira” goalkeeper Anar Nazirov will also miss next game. He was shown direct red card for denying goal-scoring opportunity at 74th minute of “Inter” match. His club has been fined 200 AZN. “Inter” was also fined 800 AZN, as 4 players of the club were booked during last round match.
