Special presentation displayed to UEFA on Baku Olympic Stadium’s candidacy for Euro Cup final matches

Baku. 5 September. REPORT.AZ/ A special presentation was prepared in regard to the nomination of the Baku Olympic Stadium for hosting the final matches of the Champions League and Europa League in 2018-2019 season.

Report informs, the presentation has been made today by AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev at the UEFA headquarters in Switzerland’s Nyon city.

AFFA Vice-President Elshad Nasirov and Secretary General Elkhan Mammadov also attended the meeting.

Notably, the nomination of the Baku Olympic Stadium has been submitted by AFFA. The decision of the UEFA Executive Committee regarding the stadiums hosting the matches will be announced on September 21.
