Ronaldo can be fined 8 mln euros and sentenced to prison for failing to pay taxes

Baku. 25 May. REPORT.AZ/ Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo can be fined 8 mln euros and sentenced to four months in prison for failing to pay taxes, Report informs citing the foreign media.

The tax department believes, there is an evidence that Ronaldo has not paid tax in the amount of about 8 mln euros in 2011 – 2014 years.

It is reported that Ronaldo invested his money, received from the realization of his image rights, in offshore companies in the Virgin Islands.
