AFFA bids to host 2019 UEFA Champions League in Baku

Baku. 3 February. REPORT.AZ/ AFFA proposed to hold final matches of Champions League and Europa League in 2019 in Baku.

Report informs, AFFA has offered the UEFA to host the final decisive matches in Baku Olympic Stadium.

Both nominated stadiums for the games are as follows:

Champions League

Azerbaijan - Baku - Baku Olympic Stadium

Spain - Madrid - Estadio Metropolitano

UEFA Champions League

Azerbaijan - Baku - Baku Olympic Stadium

Georgia - Tbilisi - Dinamo Arena

Germany - Frankfurt - Frankfurt Stadium

Germany - Stuttgart - Stuttgart Arena

Scotland - Glasgow - Hampden Park

Spain - Seville - Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan

Turkey - Istanbul - Besiktas Arena

Notably, the UEFA Executive Committee's decision on stadiums that will host the final matches of the tournament will be announced in September.
