Limit of compensation to 'Bank Standard' depositors increased

Baku. 13 October. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (ADIF) has increased limit of compensations to be paid to depositors of under liquidation 'Bank Standard'. 

Report was informed in the ADIF, taking into account large number and social vulnerability of depositors, today ADIF starts payment of compensations for insured deposits up to $50,000 and AZN 80,000. Previous limit was $20,000.

Payment of compensations for preserved deposits with higher amounts will be announced in coming days.

Payouts are executed in head office and 14 regional branches of 'Bank Standard'.
