FIMSA hosts banks officials to mull development of capital market

Baku. 28 November. REPORT.AZ/ The Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA) has held a joint meeting with representatives of the National Deposit Center (NDC), Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) and Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA).

Report informs referring to the FIMSA, presentations were held on direct participation of banks in the capital markets and delivering investment services and optimizing the clearing and settlements on signed transactions for notes of Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

It was noted that participation of banks on the securities market without mediation of investing companies can play considerable role in the development of this market.

Afterwards discussion was held around the questions of participants. It was decided that the work on the presented topics should be continued.
