Cash transfers from Azerbaijan to Georgia up 40%

In April 2020, $2.44 million was transferred from Azerbaijan to Georgia, up 39.47% compared to the previous year, Report informs with reference to National Bank of Georgia.

Azerbaijan's share in the total volume of transfers from foreign countries to Georgia made up 3.08%. In the reporting period, $0.8 million was transferred from Georgia to Azerbaijan.

Georgia received $ 79.1 million from foreign countries, which is $58 million or 42.3% lower than last year.

During the month, $10 million was transferred from Georgia to other countries, down 47.7% from 2019.
