Average annual inflation in Azerbaijan to drop to 3.8% in 2028

The Ministry of Economy predicts that the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan in the base scenario will be 4.6% in 2025 and 3.8% in 2028, according to the Medium-term Budget Framework for 2025-2028 published by the Ministry of Finance.
Report informs that the base scenario for inflation, prepared by the Ministry of Economy, is based on forecasts of international organizations.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the average annual inflation for January-September 2024 was 1.5%. At the same time, prices for food, beverages and tobacco products increased by 0.4%, for non-food products by 1.4%, and for paid services to the population by 3.3%.
