SOCAR reduces oil refining, boosts gas processing

During July-September 2022, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) refined 1.8 million tons of oil, 4.6% less than last year's corresponding period, Report informs, citing the company.

In the third quarter of 2022, SOCAR processed 898 million cubic meters of gas. Gas processing increased by 10.6% compared to the same period last year.

Also, during the quarter, about 591,000 tons of oil, petrochemical and gas-chemical products produced at SOCAR's facilities in Azerbaijan were exported to foreign markets. According to the company, this is 45% less than in the third quarter of last year.
