Oil prices accelerate growth to over 1% after previous fall

World oil prices accelerated their growth to more than 1% on Tuesday afternoon after falling the day before, Report informs referring to trading data.

The price of June Brent oil futures rose by 1.24%, to $67.08 per barrel, June WTI futures by 1.44%, to $63.31.

In the morning, oil rose in price within 1%. The day before, the decline in oil prices during trading exceeded 2.5% against the backdrop of a combination of bearish factors, including the prospects for the return of Iranian oil to the market and risks to the global economy due to US import duties.

On April 23, the US Department of Energy is expected to publish statistics on oil reserves in the country for the week ending April 18. In the previous week, through April 11, commercial oil inventories in the US rose by 0.5 million barrels, compared to expectations of a rise of 0.4 million.
