New director appointed to SOCAR’s Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery

Upon the order of SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, Bakhtiyar Ibrahim oglu Mammadov was appointed as the Director of Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery, Report informs, citing SOCAR.

Former director of the Refinery Elman Abbas oglu Ismayilov was appointed as the Deputy Vice President of SOCAR for Processing.

Bakhtiyar Mammadov was born in 1971. After graduating from the Azerbaijan Oil Academy (currently: the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University), he started working at Azerneftyag Oil Refinery and worked in different positions until 2015. He worked as deputy chief of department at the refinery in 2015-2016, chief engineer – deputy director at Carbamide Plant in 2016-2019.
