IEA: Russia and Middle East to remain as largest region for gas export

Russia will remain the biggest gas exporter in the world at least until 2040, US will rank 2nd by 2025, International energy Agency said in World Energy Outlook.

According to the outlook, Russia and Middle East will remain the largest regions for gas export, but proportions of new exporters will increase.

At the same time, Qatar will keep being the biggest LNG exporter till 2040. In the predicted period, Australia and US will compete with them.
