Azerigas: Gas supplies to Khankandi to be restored

The supply of natural gas to Khankandi and other surrounding settlements will be restored in the coming days, Azerigas Production Union of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) told Report.

Firstly, the supply lines will be tested.

“In this regard, consumers are advised to be careful when using natural gas, and follow safety rules strictly,” Azerigas said.

Azerigas noted that after the completion of tests, the supply of natural gas in the Karabakh economic region will be fully restored on March 29.

“In recent days, the failure of gas distribution lines in the Karabakh economic region, which have been operating for many years without maintenance, has led to problems with gas supply. Despite the excessive snowfall, the employees of Azerigas PU are taking necessary measures to eliminate the consequences of the accident in the rugged terrain,” Azerigas told Report.
