AzerEnergy inks memorandum with Uzbekistan's National Electric Grid

AzerEnergy OJSC signed a memorandum with the National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan, Report informs.

The purpose of the memorandum is to benefit from the experience of Azerbaijan's energy system and to expand the energy cooperation of both countries.

The managing staff of Uzbekistan National Electric Grid’s, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, got acquainted with AzerEnergy's power plants, substations, laboratory, educational and digital control centers within four days starting July 24, and participated in a number of meetings.

At the meetings of the head of AzerEnergy Baba Rzayev and other persons with the leadership of Uzbekistan's electric grid, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of cooperation between the energy systems of both countries.

As part of the visit, the Uzbek delegation was given extensive information on AzerEnergy's power plants, substations, Digital Control and the new SCADA system, important factors during the application of these systems, software, automation, and other areas.
