In January 2024, 1.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas (+0.1 billion cubic meters, or 10%) were exported from Azerbaijan to Europe, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Energy.
In the reporting period, the gas exports from Azerbaijan amounted to 2.3 billion cubic meters (+4.5%).
During this period, Azerbaijan sold 0.8 billion cubic meters of gas to Türkiye, and 0.4 billion cubic meters to Georgia. Gas exports to Türkiye increased by 0.1 billion cubic meters, or 11.1%, while the volume of natural gas transported to Georgia rose by 0.1 billion cubic meters, or 33.3%.
During the reporting period, about 0.4 billion cubic meters of gas (-0.1 billion cubic meters, or 20%) were transported to Türkiye through the Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline (TANAP).
