Prime Minister addressed pandemic’s impact on economy

The Azerbaijani government monitors the developments in the global economy and implements preventive measures.

Prime Minister Ali Asadov made remarks while addressing the parliament a report on the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers for 2019 via videoconferencing, Report says.

“The low demand arising from cheap oil prices and social isolation caused by coronavirus pandemic does not rule out impacts on our economy like in other countries. However, the government has the necessary tools to eliminate the possible negative influences and will use it flexibly,”  prime minister said.
