Novruz holiday celebrated in Estonia

The Estonian-Azerbaijani cultural center “Aydan” has organized an event on the occasion of the Novruz holiday at the Azerbaijan House in Tallinn.

According to the Estonian bureau of Report, the event was attended by members of the Parliament and the Ministry of Culture of this country, representatives of the municipality of Tallinn, the head of Estonia’s Union of National Minorities, representatives of national minority communities.

The head of the center, Niyazi Hajiyev, congratulated the guests and all Azerbaijanis on the occasion of the national holiday.

He informed the guests about the Novruz holiday, its traditions and stressed that the holiday symbolizing the arrival of spring is celebrated in Azerbaijan and a number of other countries.

After the end of the artistic part of the event, the guests were presented with dishes of national cuisine and received holiday gifts.
