French lawyer visits Azerbaijan’s Shusha

French lawyer Alain Tremolieres has visited the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, the city of Shusha, as part of his visit to Azerbaijan, the State Committee for Work with Diaspora told Report.

It was noted that the purpose of the visit was to familiarize the guest with the ancient history and rich culture of Azerbaijan, demonstrate the consequences of the Armenian atrocities in Shusha, as well as the construction and reconstruction work carried out in the city.

Tremolieres expressed his gratitude to the organizers for the opportunity to visit the cultural capital: “For me, Shusha is, first of all, a historical and cultural city. I got acquainted with Shusha, its history. The stones and trees of the city seem to tell about the suffering they endured, how they were treated, the great misfortunes and injustices that occurred. I thank the people who accompanied me, everyone who made this trip possible.”

The French lawyer also stressed the importance of establishing peace in the South Caucasus.
