Azerbaijani delegation visiting Georgia - UPDATED

The delegation, which is on a visit to Georgia, led by Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Work with the Diaspora Vagif Seyidbeyov, has visited the Heydar Aliyev Park in Tbilisi, the Georgian bureau of Report informs.

The delegation together with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev honored the memory of the national leader and laid flowers at his bust.

The delegation includes Deputy Executive Director of the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora Shahin Jamalov, Head of the Department for Georgia and Turkic-Speaking States of the Committee Vusal Mammadov and others.

As part of the visit, which will last until May 22, meetings will be held in the state structures of Georgia with Azerbaijani compatriots living in Marneuli and Gardabani.
