In January-July of this year Azerbaijan imported 459.9 tons of medicines from Georgia, Report's local bureau informs citing the preliminary report of Georgia's National Statistics Office.

The total value of medications exported to Azerbaijan from the neighboring country amounted to $17.906,300. This makes a growth of 1,118.9 tons or 3.4-fold in terms of volume and $2,328,700 or 11.5% in terms of value over the previous year.

In the same period of the last year Azerbaijan bought 1,578.8 tons of medicines worth $20,234,000.
