Bahar Muradova: Attempts to violate territorial integrity of countries undermined credibility of the OSCE

Baku. 6 July. REPORT.AZ/ "Attempts to change territorially recognized borders and the violation of territorial integrity of countries have undermined the credibility of the OSCE." Report informs, the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to OSCE PA, Vice-Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis) Bahar Muradova said at the annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Helsinki.

She noted that such attempts are continuously observed.

B.Muradova urged the organization to take steps to "a speedy resolution of conflicts, restore good-neighborly relations based on respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of each other."

"We must go beyond the expression of official support for the negotiations and expressions of hope for progress in the conflict resolution process, and to take practical steps to change the unacceptable status-quo in the conflict zones. The OSCE and its Parliamentary Assembly must act now, before it's too late", said the Azerbaijani MP.

"The ongoing suffering of millions of people affected by the conflict, displaced from their homes require urgent action", she added.

The head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly has given the answer to the statement of the Armenian deputies: "The Azerbaijanis actually will return to their historic lands, including Yerevan, you can be sure of that."
