President of Pakistan invited to COP29 in Baku

Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, President of COP29 Mukhtar Babayev met with the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad.

Report informs citing the Pakistani President's page on X that the Pakistani leader congratulated Azerbaijan on its chairmanship of COP29.

Ali Zardari said that he highly values Pakistani-Azerbaijani relations and his country is interested in the further development of bilateral cooperation in various fields.

Mukhtar Babayev, in turn, emphasized the importance of further expanding bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, in particular in tourism and culture.

He also invited the Pakistani President to attend COP29, which will be held in Azerbaijan in November this year.
