State Tourism Agency: Creation of tourism police in Azerbaijan is on agenda

"Creation of tourism police in Azerbaijan is on the agenda, " spokesperson of the State Tourism Agency Kenan Guluzade said at the event ‘Azerbaijan Tourism Summit - 2019’.

According to him, the design of the uniform of tourism police is being discussed: "Tourism police will attend different trainings and those knowing more foreign languages will be involved."

The number of people visiting Azerbaijan in January-October 2019 increased by 10.9% or 264,000 people to 2.7 million people.

This indicates that the number of foreigners visiting Azerbaijan will exceed 3 million in 2019.
