Popular beach resort eases restrictions for some travelers

Mauritius is easing restrictions for vaccinated visitors, with the new rules to come into effect from September 1, Report informs, citing Russia's Association of Tour Operators.

Upon arrival in the popular beach country, travelers will have to stay only seven days within a 'resort bubble' instead of the previous 14 days.

Though they won't be able to leave the hotel's territory, the vaccinated travelers will enjoy all amenities, including the swimming pool and the beach.

Meanwhile, the unvaccinated vacationers will still have to pass a two-week quarantine in a designated hotel.
