War veterans will receive Presidential scholarship from April

In accordance with order signed by President Ilham Aliyev on February 25, 2019 a monthly presidential scholarships will be paid to war veterans.

Report was told in the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population according to the order, instead of the social welfare benefits for war veterans for their utility, transportation and other payments in the amount of 55 AZN and veterans of war who receive 11 AZN they will receive monthly scholarship of 80 AZN instead.

This indicates a significant increase in state support to 80,000 war veterans.

An additional 80 million AZN will be allocated for the payment of the above-mentioned scholarship.
