The second seniors festival was held in Shamakhi as part of the "Social Projects" Competition announced by the Regional Development Public Union of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Report informs.
The event was attended by the head of Executive Power of Shamakhi District Tahir Mammadov, MPs, chairman of Shamakhi Council of Elders, representatives of Regional Development Public Union, Third Spring Public Union, employees of Kapital Bank, and other guests.
Works of members of the "YASHA" center operating in Shamakhi on painting, weaving, decorative flowers, toys, stained glass, wood carving, etc., were exhibited during the event. Moreover, board games and master classes were held with the participation of guests.
In the artistic part of the event, the pieces of music of the "Spring Harmony" choir and representatives of the older generation were listened to, and a poetry scene was performed. The event ended with a monologue, "The story of an old man."
