Baku. 16 January. REPORT.AZ/ The State Labor Inspection Service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population has appealed to employers in connection with the extreme weather conditions expected in the country on January 17 night.

Report informs citing the Public Relations Department of the Ministry that the relevant measures should be taken in accordance with the requirements of the legislation to protect the lives and health of employees working in the open air during indicated times.

The Ministry noted that in line with Article 233 of the Labor Code, workers should be allowed to have a break to get warm or stop the work during low temperatures and severe wind conditions, as well as in non-heated closed buildings.
