Muslims’ religious leader condemns attempts to burn Holy Koran in Sweden, Denmark

"I strongly condemn the desecration of religious venues and symbols in various parts of the world, including attempts to burn the Koran in Sweden and Denmark during the month of Ramadan, as well as the clashes in Jerusalem," Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazada, chairman of the Board of Muslims of the Caucasus (BMC), made the remarks at an iftar (fast-breaking) dinner at his residence on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, Report says.

Pashazada said that the abuse of religious feelings for political purposes is unacceptable and should be unequivocally condemned by leaders of all religions.
