Zelensky: Ukrainian army repulses attack in main directions

"Ukrainian army is repulsing the attack in main directions," country's President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video message, Report informs, citing the Facebook page of the Ukrainian President's Office.

"We have been defending our country for 15 days. We are standing on our feet. Thanks to our military, our national guard, our border guards, our police, our territorial defenders, and our defenders, we are not slaves. We will never be the slaves," he said.

Zelensky said that on March 9, the Russian military opened fire on a maternity hospital and a kindergarten in Mariupol, injuring 17 people (women, children, and medical workers) and killing three, including a girl: "The Russians lied that there were no patients, children or women there. They said that there were nationalists there. I am sure that they are always deceiving with such a justification. I want to tell you that those who ordered the bombing of the civilian population will be held accountable... You like to live in luxury. But this will never happen. What happened is just the beginning. The aggressor will understand it only a little late, but sooner or later, he will understand it. "
