Zelensky appeals to Ukrainians

“Help each other! Support each other! Stand up for yourself!” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his video address to Ukrainians on March 14.

“Russia continues to destroy infrastructure by attacking our cities. But we will restore the streets of every city, houses and apartments of every Ukrainian. There is still an occupier in our lands, and now we must strike it as best we can. We must protect our cities, our villages, every inch of our land, every piece of our heart. We must defend the Ukrainian heart, the Ukrainian spirit! Help each other! Support each other! Stand up for yourself! Protect the state! We will win together!” he stressed.

Zelensky said Russia had been preparing for the war for decades:

“They have amassed considerable military resources to bring the neighbors to their knees for a despicable purpose. They did it to destroy Ukraine and Europe.”
