Turkish special services detain particularly dangerous PKK terrorist in Iraq

Turkish security forces have detained and delivered to the country a particularly dangerous member of the PKK terrorist organization Abdulkerim Yilmaz.

Report informs, citing Anadolu, that the militant was detained in a special raid carried out by the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) in northern Iraq.

The terrorist, who has been on the wanted list since 2015, was accused of aiding the activities of the PKK in the Shemdinli region of the southeastern Turkish province of Hakkari.

After he was put on the wanted list, Yilmaz illegally crossed into Iraq.
