Turkish Armed Forces strike PKK militants' stronghold in Syria

Turkish military struck the settlement of Suluk in northern Syria, where militant strongholds were located.
Report informs via Al Arabia that the southern areas of the settlement were bombed.
On January 5, the Turkish army eliminated 32 militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK, recognized as a terrorist organization by Ankara) in northern Syria. The conflict between Türkiye and the PKK has been ongoing since 1984. Turkish authorities consider the PKK a threat to national security and regularly conduct raids against its supporters in the country and operations in northern Syria and Iraq.
