Turkish ambassador calls on France to prevent Armenian radicals from obstructing peace process

Along with participating in the peace process, the French government should prevent radical Armenians from obstructing the peace process, Ambassador of Turkiye to France Ali Onaner told Report's local bureau.

The ambassador condemned the activities of Armenian radicals in France:

"Radicals trying to obstruct peace do not hesitate to cause provocations. The activity of this radical group in France is very strong."

Onaner noted that the participation of the French government in negotiations for the restoration of peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia is a very positive thing:

"The main responsibility of the French government is to put an end to the provocations carried out by the pro-Armenian radical group in this country. The French government is responsible for preventing the Armenian radical group from obstructing the peace process."

On the night of October 1, a group of Armenian radicals threw red paint on the administrative building of the Azerbaijani embassy in France and wrote insulting words against Azerbaijan on the walls of the building. Azerbaijan has issued a protest note to France regarding the issue, demanding compensation and punishment of the culprits.
