A plane operating on the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Yuzhno-Kurilsk route in Russia had to return to its departure airport due to technical issues, according to the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office, Report informs via TASS.
The DHC-8 passenger aircraft operating the flight returned to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk International Airport named after Chekhov. The landing was successful, and there were 68 passengers on board.
The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
