Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova has announced a public holiday from October 30 to November 7 in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, Report informs. Referring to Russian media.
She offered employers to give employees two days of rest for their vaccination.
At the same time, it was proposed to open the facilities only with a QR code after November.
In some regions, citizens can go on holiday from October 23.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin welcomed Golikova’s initiative.
President Vladimir Putin is expected to hold a government meeting on the issue tomorrow.
