Presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko will discuss issues related to security at a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, Report informs.

On March 27, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State with the participation of Putin and Lukashenko was scheduled for April 6.

On March 25, Putin announced the completion of the construction of a storage facility for tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus by July of this year. The Russian president noted that Moscow is not transferring nuclear weapons to Minsk, but is doing what the US has been doing for many years - deploying tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of allies and training their pilots in handling them.
