President of Georgia departs for US visit

Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili has left for a visit to the United States.
According to Report's local bureau, during his stay in New York, Kavelashvili will speak at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.
High-level bilateral meetings are also planned, including a meeting with UN Secretary-General António Guterres. Additionally, Kavelashvili will attend an official reception hosted by US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump in honor of the delegation leaders participating in the General Assembly.
The visit is scheduled from September 21 to 26.
